Web Based
|
The system is a 100% web-based,
built on ASP.NET 2.0 Framework using C#. You can administer
and manage the system in your office, at home, or at any corner
of the world via Internet. |
| Unlimited Capacity |

newsletter, subscribers and users. |
| Support Both SQL Server
and Access |
The back-end database can be in SQL Server,
SQL Server Express or Access. If you choose to use Access,
the system will automatically set up the database for you.
There is no need to pre-install Microsoft Access to your server.
|
| Batching of Email
Delivery |
The system provides batching of email. You
can control the number of newsletter to be delivered in a
batch, and the idle time between the delivery of 2 consecutive
batches. This helps you control the CPU consumption and connections
with the SMTP server. |
| Online Help |
Online Help is provided for ALL screens.
Simply click the 'Help' button to get the information related
to the viewing page. |
| Newsletter Delivery
Scheduling |
You may set up the desired delivery date/time
and then approve the newsletter. The scheduler in i-Newsletter.NET
will then deliver your newsletter according to the scheduled
time. This facilitates you to compose and approve the newsletter
in advance, and schedule to deliver them later (e.g. during
holiday). |
| Newsletter in HTML
Format |
The system supports sending HTML, text or both
HTML and text format newsletter based on the subscription
preference. An built-in HTML editor is bundled with the product
for you to create and edit the newsletter. |
| Fetch Newsletter Contents
from Web Page |
You may enter an URL and then the system will
fetch the contents from the web into the editor. You may then
apply your touch-ups to create the newsletter. |
| Newsletter in your
Language |
i-Newsletter.NET facilitates you to compose
newsletters in different character encoding, including UTF-8.
You can even put multi-languages text into one single newsletter. |
| Attachment |
You may attach as many attachment as you like
to the newsletter. |
| Embed Image in Newsletter |
For newsletter in HTML format, you may embed
the images in your newsletter instead of putting a link in
the newsletter. This facilitates recipient without web access
to view the pictures in the newsletter properly. |
| Preview before Actual
Delivery |
You may send the editing newsletter to yourself
and/or your boss/colleagues for preview and comment before
releasing it to the subscribers. |
| Flexible Search Engine |
Nearly all the fields in the database can be
searched. This facilitates you to quickly locate your desired
records from the sea of information. |
| Flexible Batch Function |
You may upload Excel spreadsheets to import
subscribers, import subscription, perform bulk opt out or
remove subscribers. |
| Export Records to
Spreadsheet |
You may export the designated subscriber records
into Excel spreadsheet or Comma Separated Values ("CSV")
for further analysis and/or reporting. |
| Generate Subscription
Form |
The system can generate a HTML subscription
form based on your choices. You can then incorporate the form
into your web pages such that your visitors can simply enter
their email address to subscribe your newsletter. Visit our
sample subscription form
for further details. |
| Confirmed Opt-in |
You can choose whether subscribers subscribed
via web form need to confirm their subscriptions (recommended)
or not ("single opt-in", not recommended). |
| Create Mailing List
from Subset of Subscribers |
You may specific your search criteria on existing
subscribers (e.g. demographic data) or subscriptions (e.g.
opt in date), and import those selected subscribers into a
designated mailing list. Then you may send newsletters to
these subscribers using that mailing list. |
| Personalized Unsubscribe
Link |
The system can generate a personalized unsubscribe
link and attach the link to the email. Newsletter recipient
can simply click the link to unsubscribe one or all newsletters.
Recipients can also enter the opt out reason optionally, and
you can view the statistics via online reports. |
| Automated
Bounce Back Handling |
You can choose to let the system
handle the bounce back automatically for you. |
| Remove Subscribers
Based on Bounce Back Frequency |
You can predefine soft/hard bounce back thresholds,
and remove those subscribers exceeding either threshold. |
| Custom Fields for
Each Subscriber |
You may define your own fields (maximum 10
fields) for each subscriber. All these custom fields are searchable
and can be merged into the newsletter. |
| Track Open Rate and
Click Through Rate |
The system can optionally track the newsletter
open rate and the click through rate of each link in the newsletter. |
| Click Through Details
|
You can examine the links that a subscriber
has clicked, and the subscribers that clicked a specific link
via online enquiry screens. |
| Notification on Newsletter
Delivery Progress |
Once a newsletter is released, the system can
regularly send the delivery progress report to designated
recipient(s) at pre-defined interval. |
| Abort/Resume Delivery |
You may abort the delivery of a newsletter
any time before or during sending, and resume the delivery
later. |
| Segregation
of Duties |
You can define different access
control groups. Each group can have completely different authorities.
For example, group A can view and compose newsletters, and
group B can release the newsletters. |
| Custom System Security |
The system provides flexible yet robust system
security. You can define your own policies like minimum/maximum
password length, whether password must have uppercase, lowercase
or number, number of consecutive invalid attempts before account
is revoked, etc. |
| User Grouping |
User Groups (or "Domains") can be
defined in the system. Each user group can only access information
within the user group. Each user group has its own administrators,
system management, system security, mailing lists, subscribers,
etc. |
| Audit Trail |
You can choose to turn on or turn off audit
trail which logs all the add/change/delete of records in the
system. |
| Detect Concurrent
Update |
The system will reject updating to any record
if the concerned record is modified by other person while
you are making your changes. This avoids overwriting the modifications
made by someone else. |
| Last Update Information |
You can obtain the ID of the person who last
amended the record, and the date/time making the amendment
via online enquiry screen. |
| Email Address Validation |
The system supports verifying the email address
using different mechanisms. You may select subscribers to
perform email address validation. Different actions (or no
action at all) can be applied to the subscribers with email
address which cannot pass through the validation, e.g. treat
as a hard bounce or soft bounce, etc. The results will be
stored in a report for your reference and/or action. |
